Dance Brazil
The Ohio State Dance Brazil Program is designed to offer a distinctive cultural experience for students who desire a unique global diversity component to their education. This program will introduce students to dance, music and culture of Brazil. After studying dance and the Portuguese language on campus, all members of the class will travel to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil to perform and study with Brazilian dance masters, tour the city and engage in cultural exchange with Brazilian dancers.
Throughout the process of Dance Brazil, I have had rehearsals and learned 6 dances to be performed throughout different schools and performance centers in three cities in Brazil; Salvador, Lençois, and Arembepe.
